A Romance of the Little Forest

When a fashion blogger meets a botany professor who was her college crush, will they end up together?

This drama follows the life of a fashion blogger who in spite of having a Ph.D. has chosen to become a blogger. When she mistakes a botany professor to be her co-actor during a shoot, and is insulted by him, she decides to make him fall in love with her dumb version without revealing that she has a Ph.D. Will she succeed?

I absolutely disliked this one. I didn’t understand why the directors made it seem like women who don’t have Ph.D. are dumb, or that the superiority complex of the male lead was justified. This drama stood up for all the wrong things. The female lead makes the male lead fall for her to satisfy her ego, which I felt was ridiculous. The male lead disappears for his career for a year, without telling the female lead, and acts as if nothing happened when he comes back. Apart from the obvious problems, I cringed every time the female lead tried to act dumb or cute. I just don’t get why the writers felt the need to make this drama. It was a complete disaster from the beginning till the end. So, if I were you, I will just skip this one.

The originality of the plot: The plot is not original, and it’s an annoying watch.

Acting of main protagonists: The chemistry between the leads is fine.
