Back From the Brink
When a centuries-old dragon meets a woman who carries a seal that is the key to gaining back his complete powers, will he end her or is she his salvation?
This drama follows the life of a woman whose weak heart would have killed her long back had she not received the dragon’s heart-protecting seal. She lives happily and tries her best to enjoy every moment. However, one day when she unknowingly frees the dragon lord, her life starts changing forever. He, on the other hand, is uber focused on getting revenge on the women who betrayed him in the first place. In order to do so, he needs to get his full powers back and as he begins the journey to find different parts of his seal to reach his full powers, she joins him. Soon, their feelings for each other begin to grow. Will these two realize that they might just be at the brink of something amazing? Or is this relationship meant to end in tragedy? Watch to find out!
My Review….
I really enjoyed this drama. Inspite of their being a few phases within the story that slowed down the pace of the plot towards the end, it wasn’t a bad story at all. Watching the trailer, I wasn’t really sure that I will enjoy the female lead’s character but boy was I surprised. She may be soft-spoken but she knew when to draw a line. A classic example was when the male lead breaks her trust, and she decides to leave him. Talking about the chemistry between the leads, it was pretty damn good. Also, in spite of the male lead’s communication issues, he was such a perfect combination of arrogant and sweet, that you couldn’t help but like him. But, the one character that I loved the most was the female lead’s friend, who was supposed to be an anti-hero but was more sensitive and caring than the male lead at times. Overall, I enjoyed this story, and you can definitely give this one a try if you too enjoy supernatural and fantasy romance stories.
