I May Love You
When a screenwriter, who has been in love with her manager for years, finally decides to give up on him, will he take notice or is it the end for them?
This drama follows the life of a screenwriter who has been secretly in love with her CEO and manager for over 4 years. Her hidden feelings have led her to discreetly undermine his attempts to court her best friend. However, when she finally gathers the courage to confess her love, things take an unexpected turn with his rejection, leading her to contemplate moving on.
But as she starts to let go, a twist of fate occurs. The CEO, who had previously been oblivious to her affections, begins to see her in a different light. As realization dawns, he finds himself unwilling to let her go and sets out to win her heart.
This drama is a delicate tale of unspoken love, missteps, and the complexities of timing in relationships. Will he manage to win her over, or has the chance for their love already passed? Their story unfolds in a journey of emotions, revealing whether a second chance at love is in their stars.
My Review….
I thought this was fine for a one-time watch. However, there was a great scope for improvement. For starters, the story started off as if it was a continuation of another drama or story that showed the male lead pursuing another woman rather than the female lead. It took a few episodes to realize that they just meant it as a backstory and not a separate drama. Also, I felt that the leads had quite a bit of hot and cold moments going on repeatedly, which was kind of a turn-off for me. Even though I do get that friction in a story keeps it exciting and prolongs the joy we feel when the leads do end up together but I still think it could have been portrayed a bit better in this drama. Also, I loved the romance of the second pair much more than I did that of the main lead couple. However, if you do choose to ignore these, and you enjoy romances where the male lead only realizes his feelings once the female lead decides to give up and decides to pursue her, you will enjoy this one. As always, the decision to watch is entirely up to you.
