When two polar opposites meet at school and form a deep bond, will their bond lead to true love when they meet each other years later?

This story follows the life of two polar opposites. One of them tops the school consistently, while the other fails consistently. When they start studying together, they form a deep friendship. However, before long, they are separated due to circumstances. When, years later, they meet again, will their mutual fondness turn to ever-lasting love?

I found this drama to be both realistic and sweet. It portrayed the innocence of childhood and the wariness of adulthood perfectly. The transition of the leads from innocent young children who didn’t understand the big picture, to mature adults who are wary of everything around them was both heart-wrenching and touching. I found this story to be a wonderful tale of romance that makes you cheer for your favorite characters. One caveat though is that the male lead is often expressionless and successively fails at expressing himself, while the female lead is his opposite in every way and expresses herself well. If you enjoy such a story, then go for it!
