Love to Hate You

When a man who dislikes women meets a woman who doesn’t believe that good men exist, will they prove each other right or wrong?

This drama follows the life of a woman who has never met a good man and as a result, she is pretty biased against all men. This is also the story of a very successful man who has suffered past trauma that has made him apprehensive of all women in general. As a result, they are very similar and have unfortunately turned against their opposite genders. Where one avoids women in general, the other dates them to punish them for their transgressions. However, when these two come face to face, and start a battle of wits where both try to outsmart each other, will their mutual distaste turn to love? Watch to find out.

I loved this drama. Even though this is a pretty short drama, it’s beautifully made. The angst, anger, disgust and pain of the characters were showcased in a way that left room for comedy and romance without making it depressing or sad. This was a pretty great rom-com specifically because the characters were well made, and the story was interesting and fast developing. I found myself binge-watching this before I knew it. One caveat though is that there are moments that are pretty exaggerated and larger than life, but this story manages to make it seem relatable and seamless. So, if you are a fan of romantic comedies where the leads are both smart and witty and seem to be polar opposites, you will love this one!
