Will an extraordinary painter and a talented astrologer be able to stay together, especially when their union means the end of the world?
This drama showcases the story of a blind girl who is the only daughter of the royal painter and a noble boy who can see the future. Due to an unexpected event, a powerful curse containment fails, and a dark entity enters the boy. To protect the world, heaven takes away the eyes of the entity and transfers them to the only living soul nearby, i.e., the girl! Thus, as long as the girl and boy stay away from each other, the powerful entity will never be able to cause harm!
As a result of this, the girl gains her vision and, eventually, goes on to become an extraordinary painter. Whereas the boy, who is now blind, struggles to live a life without sight, containing a dark entity within him that he doesn’t understand. However, in spite of his struggles, he still manages to become the royal astrologer by sheer grit and determination!
The plot resumes when they meet again as adults and come face to face with each other and start falling in love. Not knowing that their union would mean the end of the world. What do they do when faced with an impossible choice?
I loved this drama because of how complex the characters are and the way the writer has focused on individual growth as well as their growth as a couple. The impossibility of their love, and the looming curse in the background, add quite an heart-wrenching feeling to the whole drama. Overall, it’s a good watch!
Story Line: 9.5/10
The originality of the plot: The plot is quite nicely done. However, if you are like me who tries to find logic in everything, then some parts of the drama might be difficult for you to watch. But, if you see this drama, as just a fictional story, you will enjoy it!
Acting of main protagonists: The chemistry between the leads is quite awesome, and it’s an intriguing watch!
