Marriage, Not Dating
When a man who is strictly against marriage, is forced to get married, and he decides to fake a relationship to assuage his mother, will love really knock on the doors of his heart?
This story follows the lives of two polar opposites, a man who is strictly against love and marriage, and a woman who believes in love even though she has been hurt by it multiple times. When he is forced to get married, he comes up with a unique way of escaping it, a.k.a. faking a relationship and making his mother hate it. When he convinces the ex-girlfriend of his best friend to act as his fake girlfriend, he never anticipates that she might just be the person who completes him. As they get to know each other more, in the backdrop of ex-flings and crazy families, how their relationship develops is what forms the rest of the story.
Frankly, even though I admit that the drama is not a bad watch, but I absolutely hated how the main woman lead is portrayed in this drama. She is portrayed as somebody who is an idiot but is good at heart. She keeps on getting hurt by different guys, and she never understands or learns from any of her experiences. Maybe, in the latter half of the drama, her character developed a bit more but the beginning was painful to watch. However, apart from this point, the drama isn’t too bad. In fact, it’s quite an enjoyable watch. So, if you overlook the female lead’s character development, then the rest of the drama will be a delight to watch.
