Missing: The Other Side

When a charming con man comes face to face with a village of ghosts, will he be able to figure out why he can see them?

This drama follows the life of a con man who is charming yet takes bold risks to get what he wants in life. All things go to hell when he crosses paths with a gang trying to kidnap a woman and he tries to save her. Now running for his life and trying to outwit a detective on his tail, he stumbles across a village that no one but him and a strange man can see. He is completely stumped when he finds people who are reportedly missing in the village. Trying to make sense of everything that is going on and figuring out who and what he truly is as a person, the rest of the story continues his journey of self-discovery.

This drama was not bad, but it just seemed like the plot stretched a bit too much. The actual story could have finished a lot earlier, but it looked like the story kept entangling meta stories into it, left, right, and center, which got a little annoying after a while. This was especially confusing since you wouldn’t want to remember every single thing in every earlier episode in order for the story to come together in the end. I usually watch dramas because it either shows me a different perspective or because it’s just plain worthwhile story to watch. This drama tried really hard but fell really short of my expectations. So, I wouldn’t recommend watching this one, especially since there are much superior suspense dramas out there that take you for a ride of a lifetime.
