When her doppelgänger sacrifices herself to save a woman, and she finds herself living her life, will she be able to be survive?
This drama follows the life of a woman who is an art student and studies at a good university in spite of her family being not too well off. However, her life changes forever, when she meets her doppelgänger and is kidnapped in her place. Now fighting for her life, she is saved by her doppelgänger but she dies saving her. Feeling both guilty and responsible, she is convinced by the “fiancée” of her doppelgänger to pretend to be her so that he can save her business and fulfill her last wish. Agreeing to his request, she agrees to be her for a year. However, the more she learns, the more she realizes that there are too many things that she doesn’t know and that she might have chewed off more than she can handle. Will she be able to survive and find her own happiness? Watch to find out.
I had high hopes for this one, but I was disappointed. The characterization was pretty finicky. Sometimes the male lead came off as very toxic, unnecessarily violent, and ruthless, and sometimes he came off as a gentle person. It was so jarring that I felt like he was giving classic hot and cold vibes to the female lead from the start. The character of the female lead was also confusing, since she looked strong, but she did things impulsively and without much logic. She even cared more for the male lead than her father. I don’t think I can accept that, either. So for me, the plot wasn’t bad, but the characters and their relationship were both toxic and disappointing. However, if these things don’t bother you, you might like this drama. I will leave the decision up to you.
