When a successful and ambitious woman who appears cold, meets a man who is her polar opposite, will their mutual respect turn to more?
This drama follows the life of a woman who is very ambitious and has high morals in our life. She intends to run her company and make it reach unfathomable heights. When she comes face to face with the CTO of the company who is her direct rival, she remains unaware of his true job. But, he becomes extremely interested in her after having admired from afar. The more he gets to know her, the more he becomes convinced that she is his perfect match. Vowing to woo her, he embarks on a journey to prove himself her perfect fit. She, on the other hand is apprehensive of him because of her past and parent’s relationship. Will they find love or are they meant to be friends? Watch to find out.
My Review….
I had high hope for this one, since I love the concept of two strong people falling for each other. However, the story development and ending kind of ruined it for me. Till the point, the leads fall for each other, the story seems good. The characters made sense and the tension between them was great and adorable at the same time. But, after the leads begin a relationship, god, it starts to become more and more weird. Don’t get me wrong. The chemistry between the leads and their cutesy moments were a delight to watch. But, the plot could have ended there as post that point, the story began to digress. The presence of a cheating husband, a flighty best friend, an obsessed woman in a relationship that was toxic to begin with, and the introduction of a woman who tries to woo her man kind of felt pointless. I would have enjoyed the second chance romance between the side leads a little more if their progression or romance made sense. For a single mother, she very easily moved on to the next relationship without worrying too much about her child. Last but not the least, the reason the main female lead breaks up with the male lead and makes up with him, was odd. The ending was too rushed and frankly, the story seemed incomplete and pointless due to the abrupt ending. As an audience, I didn’t get what I was looking for in this story. I suggest you skip it.
