The Mentalist

Can a reformed con man, whose wife and daughter was murdered by a serial killer, find justice and revenge for them?

This drama is a crime-solving series with 7 seasons that loosely follow the life of a reformed con man who challenges a serial killer named “Red John” on live TV and as a result, the killer kills his wife and daughter brutally. Deciding to reform himself, he dedicates his life trying to find the serial killer and help as many people as he can, on the way. Joining him is his team at the CBI, his partner and “babysitter”, Lisbon, the straight-shooter Cho, the hacker VanPelt and the muscle Rigsby. Will they be able to finally find Red John? Watch to find out.

I loved this one. All 7 seasons were constructed extremely well and it kept you guessing till the end about who is the real Red John. Meanwhile, every single episode was a different murder case which you can watch in around 45 mins to an hour. I like this kind of murder mystery series usually and this one didn’t disappoint. Also, the characters were well-developed. The pain of a husband and a father, the guilt of being responsible for the deaths of his wife and daughter and being unable to save them, the despair, the anger, the sadness, every single emotion was displayed beautifully by the actor and the directors. Overall, it was a pretty good series. If you enjoy such a murder mystery, then go for this one.
