The Wolf Princess

When a princess carrying the dual spirit of a wolf, has to live far away from her home, in the name of peace, will she ever find true peace and perhaps love?

This drama follows the life of a princess who has lived with the a ferocious wolf spirit inside her since her childhood. She is forced to move to a rival kingdom in the name of peace where she constantly struggles to survive and strike a balance between her true self and the demandingly forceful wolf spirit inside her, who wants to be free. When she meets a noble of the rival kingdom who is hell-bent on finding his mother and believes in thwarting her plans left, right, and center, her life becomes increasingly more difficult. However, as both get to know each other better by their never-ending cat and mouse fights, they unknowingly begin to care for each other. The rest of the story follows how they come to terms with their feelings and eventually find both love and peace.

Frankly, even though the plot wasn’t too bad, I didn’t like any characters in the story much. The male protagonist was especially annoying since his serious moments were also delivered in a humorous way, which frankly clashed with his personality a lot. I think the makers wanted to build a character who is smart, yet hides behind his humor, like the male protagonist in the drama, “Legend Of Fei”. However, what they ended up making is an awkward character who switches between baseless humor and suddenly out of the blue, extreme seriousness and even tears. I just didn’t get the switch. Also, even though the actress wasn’t too bad in portraying opposing personalities, I just didn’t enjoy the chemistry between the leads much. I liked the fourth brother in the story much more than the main male lead. Frankly, if you have free time and absolutely want to watch a drama, then this wouldn’t be the worst choice. However, this wouldn’t be the best either. I will leave the decision up to you!
