When a single mother, who runs a bar to raise her child, meets a man who is very different from every man she has ever met before. Will love blossom between them?
This drama follows the life of a single mother who runs a local bar to raise her only child. It portrays the prejudice that society often has against single mothers and how her character and temperament is questioned at every turn. When she meets a police officer who has a unique way of looking at life, she becomes intrigued but tries her best to resist him in the fear of getting further shamed by society. His affection, understanding and care eventually wins her over and how they develop a more mature form of romance is what forms the rest of the story.
Personally, I loved this drama. The characters are beautifully constructed, and they are portrayed extremely realistically by the actors. The trials and tribulations faced by a single mother are shown very clearly, and it makes us think about how we as a society often fail those around us because of our own pre-conceived notions and prejudices. Overall, it’s a beautiful tale of two people who might look ordinary but understand romance for what it truly is about, i.e., understanding, respect and affection for each other. So, if you are like me who enjoys a well-woven tale of mature romance, then this should definitely be on your next binge-watch list. I highly recommend you don’t miss this one!

Acting of main protagonists: The chemistry between the leads is a slow burn. It takes watching a few episodes for you to get on board with their kind of romance.
