Wrong Carriage Right Groom
When two brides accidentally marry each other’s grooms, is it destiny or a plot for chaos?
This drama follows the life of two women who come from very different families. One is a pampered daughter of a martial arts family, while the other is the daughter of an impoverished scholar who needs to get married to save her family. Their marriage, is decided against their will by two people who they believe don’t suit them. One is a known wastrel who only indulges all day, while the other is a general known to have killed his last two wives. Now, facing the inevitable and bound by duty, they have no choice but to follow through. But, fate has something else planned for them. Their bridal carriages are interchanged in the heavy rain, and they end up marrying the wrong groom. Are they destined, or is it fate’s way of spreading chaos? Watch to find out.
My Review….
This is a light-hearted and sweet story. The plot isn’t too different from others of this genre, but accidental marriage leading to true love still makes you watch from the beginning till the very end. I felt that one couple was given much more screen time than the other. Maybe, because one pair had more charisma and better chemistry than the other, but I would have loved both pairs to have similar screen times. However, that being said the love stories and even side couple were quite sweet and it was a delight to watch. Though, I would say one more thing. The attempts of this plot to become serious in the second half didn’t really pan out. So, for a one-time watch for lovers of the romance genre, this is a good candidate, but if you are looking for a great story, this might not be your cup of tea.
