My Unicorn Girl

When a female figure skater pretends to be a man and joins an ice hockey team in order to keep her dream alive, will she succeed or will love thwart all her carefully laid plans?

This drama follows the life of a figure skater who unable to join her dream college, decides to enter as an ice hockey player on the men’s team since that way she would at least be in her dream school. However, things get more complicated than she anticipated when her childhood acquaintance also joins the team and she finds herself having to hide her true identity from him. The rest of the story follows her journey towards her goals and how she tries to balance her dreams with her reality.

I enjoyed this drama quite a lot. Even though the idea of a woman posing as a man is not exactly new, the plot is still a worthwhile watch. I liked the chemistry between the leads and the heartfelt friendships that the characters shared with each other. I also appreciated the fact that the drama didn’t take itself too seriously and focused on developing a feel-good romance between the characters who want to achieve their dreams by working towards their goals. So, if you enjoy a romance in the backdrop of ice hockey where the leads eventually dislike each other but grow to love each other as they get to know each other more, then you would enjoy this one!
