What happens when 100 desperate people are invited to a high stakes, dangerous game to fight for a chance to win a better life?
This story follows the lives of a few desperate people who are in dire situations and are offered an opportunity of their lifetime to participate in a game, where winning which would entail a better life for them. When they arrive at the venue of the actual game, they start realizing how dangerous the game truly is. With their lives hanging in the balance and forced to deal with moral and ethical conundrums, left, right and center, they struggle to stay alive and win the game of their lifetime.
This story had a very different concept from other dramas that I had watched previously. Having a high stakes game as the main plot, where the life of every single participant hangs in the balance depending on the outcome of every round, was outstanding in terms of creativity. Apart from this, it had a variety of characters woven into the fabric of the plot. Right from the moral ethical man to the selfish man, to the unrepentant villain, the plot had characters in every shade of gray. Every single round of the game was beautifully showcased and had a very logical and creative thought process behind it as well. Infact, I really enjoyed this story because inspite of the dark elements such as death, immoral choices, etc that characters were forced to face, this story keeps you hooked till the very end and makes you want to cheer for your favorite participant. So, if you are someone who enjoys a plot filled with mystery, thrill and adventure, then I would place this one on my next watch list asap.
