The King: Eternal Monarch

When a modern-day emperor meets a feisty police detective, will sparks fly?

This story follows the life of an emperor who witnessed the murder of his parents but could never catch their killer, who was presumed to be dead. One day, he accidentally creates a rift in his world using his sword and enters a new world where he comes face to face with the very killer. On his quest to find out what really happened, a police detective from this new world helps him. As they both get to know each other better, the rest of the story follows their developing romance and the mystery that unravels.

Personally, I really liked this story. It was refreshingly different from other run-of-the-mill dramas. This story had action, romance, adventure and intrinsically woven characters which were well-placed within the plot. The story was fast-paced and the addition of mystery to this already amazing plot was a stroke of genius. Overall, this is a story that you shouldn’t miss if you are a fan of parallel universe stories.

Story Line: 9.2/10

The originality of the plot: The plot is original, and it’s a good watch.

Acting of main protagonists: The chemistry between the leads is awesome.
