The Glory

When a woman who has lost everything decides to fight her destiny, will she succeed?

This drama follows the life of a woman who has been bullied and harassed her entire life, thanks to a prophecy that she’d one day bring about her family’s downfall. So, instead of being raised as a cherished daughter of a noble house, she was treated like an outcast and banished to a distant village, living as a servant. When she finally decides to reclaim what’s rightfully hers and returns to the capital, she discovers that her so-called “noble” family is far from noble.

Suddenly, she’s tangled in carefully laid traps, haunted by hidden schemes, and torn over a mother she doesn’t know whether to hate or yearn for. And if that weren’t enough, crossing paths with a ruthless commander only piles on the burden. Will she be able to find justice, exact revenge, and maybe—just maybe—stumble upon love? Or was her quest doomed before it even began? Watch to find out.

My Review….

I can’t really say even now if I loved or hated this drama. This drama hooked me into its story from the very beginning. It made me angry, it made me cry, it hurt me but it also at times showed me what determination and courage looks like. I will never be able to recommend this drama in good faith because I cant justify the level of pain this drama brings to your life once you watch it. But, I can say that the story was intriguing, it made you want to punch the evil characters and shake the leads when they were being dumb.

I loved the acting of the protagonists and the story development. However, I also hated the way this drama kept killing people and ending their arcs in a heart breaking way. The relationship between the leads was also not what I consider romance. It was cunning, it was betrayal after betrayal, it was complex and toxic but somehow they still managed to make it work. So, I wont ask you today to watch this drama if you enjoy complex stories, I will ask you to decide if watching a story filled with pain and scheming is your thing, if it is then you might love this beautiful drama. However, if these things are not your cup of tea, please steer clear. Trust me.

Story Line: 9.3/10

The originality of the plot: The plot is original and its a heart wrenchingly good watch.

Acting of main protagonists: The chemistry between the leads is a slow burn. It takes watching a lot of episodes for you to get on board with their kind of romance.

Ending: Happyish Open Ended
