True Beauty

When a woman who thinks that external beauty is everything meets a guy who appreciates her inner beauty more, will she ever learn to accept that inner beauty is everything?

This story focuses on the life of a woman who thinks that she isn’t beautiful and wears heavy makeup to hide her true face. When she meets a guy who has seen her real face and still likes her, she is flabbergasted. She fails to understand what he sees in her. On the other hand, even though he is quite popular, he is quite a private person and has his own secrets. As they get to know each other more, they start to accept themselves for who they are, and the rest of the story continues their journey of self-discovery and healing.

I really enjoyed this story. Even though this was a typical, girl meets boy, and they fall in love plot, it still managed to highlight the importance of self-acceptance and loving yourself before you begin to love someone else. Overall, this was a story that had a romance that talks about growing together as a couple apart from the lovey-dovey stuff. If you are a fan of school or college romances, then you will enjoy this one!
